Snow removal teams were out in force over the weekend to help keep the streets clear.
Local city leaders and citizens alike are voicing their thanks, with Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley saying via a post on the Two Rivers City Hall Facebook page, “Thank you to our DPW crews for a very good response to a big, hard-hitting storm.”
One citizen voiced their pride in the local workers, saying, “We are safely ensconced in South Florida for the winter, but my small town sense of pride and love for Two Rivers still percolates up when I see lovely pictures of fresh snow and our hard-working Public Works crew hitting it hard.”
