
The man believed to have shot and killed a man in Appleton on Christmas Eve has been arrested.
The Appleton Police Department has announced that 20-year-old Elliot L. Campbell of Racine was taken into custody Saturday afternoon (January 13th) on a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.
Cambell is believed to be the person who shot and killed 22-year-old Elijah D. Dodson in the 100 block of South Walnut Street at around 2:00 a.m. on December 24th.
In the announcement of his arrest, the APD issued a thank you to the community for “their patience during the investigative process, understanding that given the nature of the offense, a swift yet thorough and meticulous investigation was necessary to bring justice in this case.”
They also thanked the Racine Police Department for helping arrest Campbell safely.
