Two Wisconsin county law enforcement agencies are issuing safety reminders following recent close calls.
In Dodgeville, an Iowa County Sheriff’s deputy reported a car traveling at speeds exceeding 70 miles per hour with only a small portion of the driver’s side windshield cleared.
The deputy ensured visibility by cleaning off the rest of the car during the stop.
Meanwhile, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office urges drivers to shift one lane to the left when passing a traffic stop on the right shoulder.
This reminder comes after a stopped vehicle was clipped by another passing in the far-right lane during a traffic stop, with no reported injuries in either incident.
