The Speaker’s Task Force On Human Trafficking has released its report, recommending heightened education and extended efforts.
Following four months of input from experts, law enforcement, prosecutors, and advocates, the task force proposes several new state laws.
These measures emphasize the necessity for education and training across various sectors, spanning from school children to professionals like barbers, bouncers, and hotel workers.
The task force also suggests the establishment of a new council with an additional four years to propose further legislative solutions to Wisconsin lawmakers.
