
The residents of Elkhart Lake had quite the sight yesterday (January 10th) after a semi slammed into a building.
According to Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch, a call came in reporting the crash at the intersection of Rhine and Lincoln Streets just before 11:00 a.m.
An investigation revealed the driver of the semi failed to stop at the four-way stop, resulting in it crashing into another vehicle and careening into a building.
The semi driver was uninjured, however two people in the second vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital.
Their condition is unknown at this time.
The semi-driver was given a ticket for failing to stop at the stop sign.
The names of those involved have not been released.
