Harrel Martin, the 25-year-old accused of shooting a Milwaukee police officer during a domestic violence standoff last week, had his bail set at $1 million.
The judge imposed the bail on Sunday.
Martin allegedly engaged in a shootout with the police after assaulting the mother of his children, resulting in an officer sustaining a leg injury with potential permanent damage.
Martin is charged with attempted first-degree homicide and could face up to 400 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
