
The gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin continue to drop.
Seehafer News started keeping track of the averages around our area reported on the AAA Gas Prices webpage in May of 2021.
In that time, gas prices have never been as low as they are this week. Manitowoc County reported a four-cent drop since this time last week, now averaging $2.66 per gallon, while Sheboygan and Calumet Counties each saw five-cent drop-offs to $2.63 and $2.56, respectively.
Outagamie County had the biggest drop, down 11 cents to $2.61, but Brown County wasn’t far behind.
Motorists there saw a ten-cent dip to $2.61 per gallon.
Kewaunee County meanwhile reported a five-cent decline to $2.64, while Door County motorists are paying seven cents less per gallon at the pump with an average of $2.63.
The state average is also down seven cents to $2.62, while the national average dipped three cents to $3.07.
