An arson task force is looking into a fire at an apartment complex in De Pere over the weekend.
The De Pere Fire Rescue Department reports getting the call about the fire at an eight-unit apartment complex in the 100 block of Coral Street at around 6:15 on Sunday morning.
The entire structure was evacuated by the time crews arrived, allowing them to take down the flames.
The fire was contained in the basement, with the only other significant damage being in the apartment where it started.
Six people were hospitalized for treatment of smoke inhalation, and the Brown County Arson Task Force was called in to help investigate.
The investigation is ongoing.
