It is all starting to click for the Manitowoc United hockey team.
After dropping their first seven games, the squad picked up their first win of the season just before Christmas, thanks to a huge 5-goal explosion on the back of a Miles De Kok hat trick.
They then went to the Cornerstone Community Center in Green Bay for a tournament, where they took down Wausau West 3-2 in a shootout and Chippewa Falls 4-1.
They lost the finale against a very good Verona squad, but the sparks are starting to fly.
Passes are connecting, shooters are picking their spots better, and as a result, goals are being scored.
Through their first seven games, United was shut out twice and only scored 8 goals.
They surpassed that in just two games.
They will try to start a new win streak tonight as they host Sheboygan.
Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the Manitowoc County Ice Center.
