A man was arrested in Manitowoc Wednesday morning after he was found passed out in his vehicle.
Officers were called to the intersection of Johnston Drive and East Reed Avenue at around 10:45 a.m., where they found the 38-year-old man hunched over with his SUV still in drive.
EMS shut off the vehicle and removed the man from the vehicle before administering first aid.
The man then woke up and was transported to a local hospital.
A baggie containing drugs was found in the car, along with several items of drug paraphernalia, including a tourniquet that was still on the man’s arm.
After being treated at the hospital, the man admitted to taking fentanyl but would not say where he got it from.
He is facing charges of Possession of Fentanyl and Drug Paraphernalia, and one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
