A house in Green Bay that was the sight of torture for a woman has been condemned.
The residence on Vroman Street was where 38-year-old Elizabeth Drake was arrested after allegedly keeping her mother confined to a bed in abhorrent conditions.
In their initial police report, investigators said that they were called after a delivery driver heard a woman screaming for help inside the home.
Investigators found Drake’s mother on a bed that was covered in bugs and caked on excrement.
Drake was arrested on charges of Intentionally Subjecting an Individual at Risk to Abuse Causing Bodily Harm and Improper Animal Shelter Sanitation.
She also reportedly told officers that she ignored her mom’s cries for help because she wanted to “continue doing whatever she wanted to do.”
Drake has been bound over for trial as she faces up to 6 years in prison and fines of up to $10,000.
