Nomination papers for the Two Rivers City Council have been filed by one incumbent and four new residents vying for a seat.
The five people are looking to get one of three seats available on the Two Rivers City Council, with Incumbent Jeff Dahlke trying to retain his seat.
But there are four new people who want in as well, including Mark Bittner, Doug Brandt, Andrew Quackenbush, and Shannon Derby.
Tracy Koach filed for non-candidacy, so she will not be on the council in 2024.
City Clerk Amanda Baryenbruch will conduct a public drawing on Tuesday, January 9th at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers to determine what order the candidates will appear on the April 2, 2024, Spring Election ballot.
