The Wisconsin Elections Commission has dismissed the 14th Amendment challenge to Donald Trump’s candidacy, as filed by progressive activist Kirk Bangstad.
Commissioners provided no comment upon rejecting Bangstad’s challenge. Despite expecting the dismissal, Bangstad welcomes the opportunity to take the challenge to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
This week, Michigan’s Supreme Court rejected a similar challenge, while Maine’s top election manager accepted a 14th Amendment challenge in their state.
