Drivers in Cottage Grove who receive traffic tickets now have the option to reduce fines by donating food.
The Cottage Grove Police Department is offering a five-dollar reduction in ticket fees for each food item donated.
To avail of this opportunity, individuals must deliver donations to the Police Department on Progress Drive between 8:00 and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.
