Two people were arrested in Manitowoc over the holiday weekend for resisting officers.
The first incident involved a 17-year-old man who had fled from a traffic crash in the 1400 block of North 8th Street.
Officers found the empty vehicle just before 2:00 a.m. Christmas Eve, but the man approached from a backyard shortly after their arrival.
While handcuffs were being placed on him, the man reportedly attempted to pull away and became dead weight.
He was charged with Resisting an Officer, as was a 37-year-old man who was seen driving without headlights on just before 8:00 p.m. Christmas Day.
The man was pulled over in front of Ace Hardware on Menasha Avenue, where it was learned the man’s license was revoked.
When asked multiple times to exit his vehicle, the man refused, leading to a Taser being drawn.
He was eventually forced out of the vehicle and detained.
He was also charged with two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
