Parents in Wisconsin are being cautioned about Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) following the report of two child deaths attributed to the illness.
One child resided in southeast Wisconsin, and the other in the northeastern part of the state.
RSV, a respiratory illness that typically peaks in winter, has seen an increase in cases this year.
While most people recover from RSV, the Department of Health Services warns that severe cases are more likely in the very young and elderly.
