While the statewide average price for a home was unchanged from last month, the local prices changed significantly.
According to the latest report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association, the average home sold in November went for $170,000, which is down $43,000 from October’s figure.
That being said, that is still 5% higher than last November’s average of $179,000. The sales figure reflected the price drop, with 87 homes being sold, compared to 77 in October and 80 a year ago.
The state numbers, as mentioned, remained the same, with the average home selling for $280,000 last month.
However, that number is up 7.7% from last November’s price of $259,900.
The number of sales, however, was significantly lower when compared to both moments in time.
Last month, 5,297 homes were sold around the state, which is down 635 from October and 187 from Last November.
