A firefighter in Green Bay sustained minor injuries while battling a garage fire.
The fire was reported to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department at around 6:45 Thursday evening (December 21st), and crews were sent to the 1700 block of Badger Street.
The blaze was quickly extinguished in the detached unit, but not before it also damaged two nearby homes.
The siding on those homes melted, but no structural damage was reported.
The exact nature of the injuries the firefighter sustained was not revealed.
The cause is still under investigation, but we do know the fire caused an estimated $40,000 in damage.
