Following a recent settlement with Google worth $700 million, several Wisconsin residents are expected to receive compensation.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul announced the settlement, citing “anticompetitive practices” related to the Google Play store.
While Google has not admitted to unlawful business practices, changes to the digital app and content purchasing platform, including the ability to install apps from outside the Google Play store, are part of the agreement.
