The walls are officially up for a home being built by a local branch of a national non-profit.
Habitat for Humanity Lakeside celebrated with the community as they raised the walls for their 51st home, located at 822 Oakland Avenue.
The future owner of the home, Adriana Hernandez Perez, and her family were in attendance last Thursday (December 14th) as her home continued to take shape. She voiced her gratitude, calling it “a dream come true.”
Executive Director Niki Zohrab expressed her thanks to those who are helping make the project possible, including First Congregational United Church of Christ Sheboygan, Georgia Pacific, Masters Gallery Foods, Unity Spiritual Center, Sartori Company, U.S. Bank Foundation, Wells Fargo Foundation, Whirlpool, and Wisconsin Public Service Foundation.
