Drew Maier is charged with a felony attempt to disarm a police officer after allegedly lunging at an officer’s handgun in a hospital.
Maier had been arrested for operating while intoxicated after hitting another vehicle with a Jeep on Spaight Street.
Despite claiming it was an attempt at humor, Maier’s actions resulted in a serious charge.
