2024 may be an election year, but there is a race going on right now.
he Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board is currently holding an election, which includes District 3, located in Eastern Wisconsin.
The District includes Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Calumet, Kewaunee, Brown, and Door Counties, among others, and the only name on the Ballot is Zachary Solvedt of Seymour.
Corn producers in affected districts will have until January 10th to vote, and the results will be announced later that month.
Those elected to the board will serve a three-year term beginning February 1st.
