A teenager is facing charges after leading Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high-speed chase.
Authorities saw a vehicle driving erratically on Martin Avenue, near Pioneer Road in Fond du Lac, just after 9:30 Sunday evening and immediately activated their lights and sirens.
The driver of the vehicle, later determined to be a 14-year-old boy, then sped up, turning onto Highway 151.
The teen continued to flee for over two miles before coming to a stop near Hickory Street and was taken into custody.
The boy was said to have recently moved to the area from Chicago and had stolen the vehicle just before the chase ensued.
The boy also admitted to stealing a different vehicle earlier in the evening but crashed it.
No injuries were reported, and the exact charges he is facing were not explicitly stated.
