Two people have been arrested after a reported attack on a Manitowoc man.
The victim went to the Manitowoc Police Department to report the attack just after 9:00 Thursday morning (December 14th).
The victim told police that he was making breakfast when his 29-year-old male roommate complained he didn’t like the smell.
He then allegedly broke a coffee table and choked the victim.
The victim was able to pry himself free, which led the suspect to grab a knife and swing it at the victim.
The suspect’s 42-year-old girlfriend also joined in the attack, reportedly striking the victim with a leg from the table.
The duo were spotted walking in the 3300 block of Custer Street just after noon. They downplayed the event, but both were arrested.
The man is facing charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Strangulation/Suffocation, each with domestic violence enhancers, while the woman was charged with Simple Battery, also with a domestic violence enhancer.
