Cambria-based corn milling company Didion Milling has agreed to a $1.8 million settlement with the US Department of Labor.
The settlement stems from a 2017 explosion at a corn mill plant northeast of Madison that claimed five lives and injured twelve others.
The company pleaded guilty to falsifying cleaning and other logs in September.
Didion’s vice president and former food safety superintendent have been convicted, with other company officials awaiting sentencing hearings.
