Nearly a month after SWAT was called to an Appleton residence, an arrest has finally been made.
The Appleton Police Department reports that 41-year-old Joseph Ware was arrested by the US Marshal Service in Green Bay in connection to the incident on November 16th.
On that date, officers had responded to the 1300 block of South Riverdale Drive for a welfare check.
The incident turned into a standoff.
When SWAT and K9 units entered the home, Ware was nowhere to be found.
Now, nearly a month later, he is in police custody, although the exact charges he is facing are not clear.
He was said to have a semi-automatic handgun in his possession during his arrest.
