A Green Bay woman accused of stealing from her employer has been convicted.
34-year-old Kaitlyn Michaels was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on fifteen counts of Misappropriating Identification Information to Obtain Money and one count of Using Accessing Data as a Computer Crime.
Fourteen additional counts of the first charge were dismissed but read into the record by Judge John Zakowski.
Michaels was arrested in October 2020 after she used a computer program to track customer information.
She would go on to use 29 separate customers’ credit card information to make purchases nearing $2,000.
Another $1,000 was taken from the business accounts for personal use, although the company she worked for was not revealed.
Michaels is due back in court for sentencing in February.
