A somber farewell unfolded at the funeral of Milwaukee Police Officer Jimmy Nowak, drawing hundreds of attendees.
Nowak, who succumbed to an off-duty collision in Oak Creek two Sundays ago, was remembered fondly by friends and family who shared stories and embraced during the service.
Officer Nowak was the partner of the late Officer Peter Jerving, who was fatally shot on duty in February.
