A man who helps people in need has been honored by the Clipper City Chordsmen.
The Manitowoc-based barbershop singers held their annual Christmas concert, which they called “A Lot for Christmas,” over the weekend and during the show, they gave Kenneth Walters their annual Harmony Award.
Walters, who is a member of the Knights of Columbus, also spends time distributing food through Grow it Forward and volunteers at the Manitowoc Warming Shelter.
Walters also makes his way around the city to ensure the book boxes are filled.
In a news release, the Chordsmen note, “Ken reaches out in the community with harmony with one book, one meal, and one conversation with one soul at a time. He is truly a compassionate, caring, prayerful soul.”
