Ten Republicans, central to the strategy of declaring Donald Trump the winner in the 2020 Wisconsin election, agreed to a settlement acknowledging that their efforts aimed to overturn the election.
Despite the settlement, the Republicans did not admit guilt or liability.
The conclusion of this $2.5 million lawsuit, initiated by the progressive law firm Law Forward, raises questions about potential charges from Wisconsin’s attorney general, who has yet to make a decision.
