Prom is a magical time of year for most high school students.
However, some people may feel left out of the festivities, including those with special needs.
Manitowoc Lutheran High School is looking to fix that as they have announced that they are participating in an event called “Night to Shine,” which is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
Ryan Hilse, who is leading the planning for the event, tells Seehafer News that Lutheran High is one of 720 locations around the world that will host the event simultaneously on February 9th, 2024.
He notes that the guests will all “receive the VIP treatment including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnieres, karaoke, limo rides, and of course, dancing.”
One of the highlights of prom is the crowning of a King and Queen, and at Night to Shine, every single guest in attendance will get a crown.
To make it even sweeter, the event is completely free for the honored guests.
