Democratic lawmakers introduced ten pieces of legislation at the State Capitol, aiming to allocate additional funds for UW schools.
The proposed plans cover a range of initiatives, including expanding the UW’s free tuition Promise Program and implementing a new needs-based financial aid system.
The package also includes a plea for $49 million in state aid for technical colleges and an additional $60 million for the Universities of Wisconsin.
