
Wisconsin’s outdoor recreation industry made a record-breaking contribution of $9.8 billion to the state’s gross domestic product in 2022.
According to data from the Wisconsin Office of Outdoor Recreation, this marks an almost seven-percent increase from the previous year, which also set a record.
The industry supported over 94,000 jobs and provided $4.7 billion in employee compensation.
Notably, Wisconsin’s ATV and Motorcycle sector alone contributed $1 billion, surpassing any other state in the US.
