There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (December 5th).
The Manitowoc Youth Intervention Network will gather in the Communications and Technology Building at 1:30 p.m., where they will discuss a grant opportunity and the Diversion Alternative Reform Team (DART) guidebook.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Personnel Committee will be in the County Admin Office, where they will give the public time to comment.
Then, they will discuss the potential hiring of a new corrections officer and the salary for numerous county positions for their 2025-2028 terms.
Several restructuring suggestions will also be discussed before Sheriff Dan Hartwig gives an update on Emergency Management recruitment.
