
There was some phenomenal bowling in Manitowoc County over the weekend.
Starting at Meadow Lanes West, six bowlers earned national honor count series during the 21st Century League.
Peter Steeber, Nick Bruckner, and Dalton O’Connor led the way, with all three finishing with 750 series.
Steeber got there using games of 233, 238, and 269, Bruckner had games of 226, 266, and 258, and O’Connor had games of 254, 265, and 231.
Jesse Burt ended the night with a 719 using games of 248, 247, and 224, while Pat Knapp tallied games of 243, 206, and 259 to earn a 708 series, and Greg Henrey’s 702 series came on the back of games of 247, 245, and 210.
Also, over the weekend, the Manitowo County Bowling Hall of Fame held their Senior Handicap Tournament.
The event was held Sunday at Meadow Lanes North and featured 20 bowlers who combined to bowl over 50 games.
Tim Schmidt earned the championship, while Randy Richards, Jon Newberg, Eric Cyr, and Neal Janquart rounded out the top five.
