Barron County becomes the latest site of avian influenza in Wisconsin, with the state’s Department of Agriculture confirming a case in a commercial flock.
Over 114,000 birds were euthanized to prevent the spread of the flu.
This marks the fourth occurrence in western Wisconsin, with three confirmed cases in Trempealeau County.
