A Milwaukee mother, accused of subjecting her children to squalid conditions, has entered a guilty plea after neighbors discovered her blood and feces-covered kids wandering the streets this summer.
Prosecutors announced a plea deal with Katie Koch, who faced charges related to chronic neglect of her children and false imprisonment.
The plea deal resulted in the dismissal of three other charges.
The discovery of the neglectful environment occurred when Koch’s 7 and 9-year-old children were found roaming the streets in July.
Charges are also pending against Koch’s boyfriend in connection with the case.
