The Manitowoc Police Department is investigating a plane crash that occurred Thursday afternoon.
The plane had crashed into the wooded area near the Manitowoc Chiefs football field on Clay Pit Road, but little information is known.
We spoke with the Police Department’s Shift Commander this morning, who stated that an official news release would be coming out sometime this morning.
