The return of a Manitowoc tradition is slated for this evening.
Froedtert Holy Family Memorial will be lighting its 37th Annual Love Light Tree in the hospital atrium, located at 2300 Western Avenue, with lights purchased by area residents.
The tradition began in 1986 when the Memorial Hospital Women’s Auxiliary decorated a tree to honor our nation’s veterans.
The celebration has since evolved to honor all loved ones who are living and have passed.
The lighting ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m. and will be aired live on 97.1 FM WCUB and at CubRadio.com.
