While the Manitowoc Lincoln boys swim team lost their meet against Sheboygan North, several swimmers earned first-place finishes.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Drew Crees’ 1:46.86 finish was good enough for first place, while Alexander Haas also won the 500-yard freestyle event in a time of 5:33.98.
The 100-yard breaststroke event was won by Porter Fencl while fellow Shipbuilder Connor Paltzer came in 3rd.
Crees earned several second-place finishes, one by himself in the 100 freestyle, another as a part of the 200 freestyle relay along with Porter Fencl, Connor Paltzer, and Miach Stachovak, and a third as a part of the 400 freestyle relay with Ayden Theel, Preston Hayon, and Stachovak.
Theel also came in second in the 50 yard freestyle event, while Stachovak was 3rd in the 100 backstroke.
The 200 freestyle relay, consisting of Jonas Stachovak, Preston Hayon, Lucian Meyer, and Grant Graf also had a 3rd place finish.
The swimmers will be back in action in Plymouth this weekend as a part of a nine-school invitational in Plymouth.
