The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Basketball team opened up their season last night on the road.
The Ships were in Hartford, where the Orioles took care of business and defeated the visiting squad 71-54.
Lincoln Assistant Coach Shane Evans tells us that there were three Ships that scored in double digits, led by Eddie Bolchen who netted 17.
He was followed by Gabe Nenahlo who added 13, and Brayden Steinbecker, who had 12.
The Ships fall to 0-1 to start the season but will have a chance to redeem themselves on Thursday when they take on Green Bay East in their home opener.
That game will be aired on 97.1 FM WCUB and at CubRadio.com starting at 7:15 p.m.
