There are a pair of meetings today (November 29th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Common Council will have a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
After receiving committee reports, the committee of the whole will discuss the Federal Class Action PFAS settlement cases against 3M and Dupont before going into a closed session to talk about it more.
They could vote to opt in or out of the settlement when they reconvene into an open session. Earlier this week (Monday), Two Rivers decided to opt out of the settlements because of the risks they posed.
The Plan Commission is set to gather in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
They will hold public hearings on a pair of rezoning requests before discussing a proposed amendment to the chapter of the municipal code that relates to accessory dwelling units.
They will also review a concept plan for the Popp Subdivision on South 19th and Summit Streets before reviewing and authorizing some zoning code rewrite.
The Manitowoc International Relations Association is slated to gather at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, and that is the final meeting for the week in the Clipper City.
