The Brown County woman accused of using a hidden camera to record a teenager is going to have to wait a little longer to have her day in court.
38-year-old Samantha Trebilcock was slated to go on trial soon, but it has been changed to a motion hearing.
This delay is due to a motion submitted by the defense, claiming constitutional issues in the search warrants conducted in the investigation.
It also includes a motion to suppress evidence that was taken from a phone because the defense never got it. Trebilcock is accused of enticing a teenager into her then-boyfriend’s home and secretly recording them while they undressed.
She is facing charges of Child Sexual Exploitation, Child Enticement – Recording, Prossessing, Distributing, or Exhibiting an Intimate Representation, Capturing an Intimate Representation, and Possession of THC, all as Party to the Crime.
Her motion hearing is set for April 19th.
