Chippewa Falls celebrates as Chi-Hi’s robotics team, known as Boards ‘n Bots, clinches the top spot at UW-Stout’s Make48 competition.
Coach Everett Sarauer highlights the team’s impressive feat, requiring them to conceive an idea, build a prototype, pitch it to experts, a lawyer, and face a panel of judges, all within 48 hours.
The team secured a victory against five regional counterparts, earning $2,000 in prize money and a $1,000 scholarship for each student.
