The Family Service Association of Sheboygan is hosting a special fundraiser next month.
The Festive Family Dogs in Costumes Fundraiser will be held at 3 Sheeps Brewing, located at 1837 North Avenue, on Sunday, December 10th.
Proceeds will go towards helping support financial coaching and education for struggling families throughout Sheboygan and Sheboygan County.
Registration for the dog costume contest will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a $10 entry fee per dog.
The contest will start at 3:30 with the winners being announced at 5:00. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place and the audience will serve as judges by voting for their favorite dogs by making monetary contributions that correspond with the dog’s entry number (suggested donation of $5 per vote).
There will also be a bake sale, music by the Jesse & James Band from 2:30-5:30, and Nina’s Pita Hut food truck will be on hand from noon to 6:00. The Family Service Association operates two nonprofit agencies, Consumer Credit Counseling Service and Advocacy Programs, and has been in existence since 1912.
