
The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Basketball team has started off the season with the shooting touch, as they dropped 88 on an unsuspecting Green Bay East squad and held the Red Devils to just 17.
The Ships had a mammoth first half, draining six threes en route to a 52-13 lead at the break, and then cruised to the 71-point win.
The Ships had four players in double figures, led by Laurin Hamann, who netted 19 points, while Sarah Bolchen added 17, each with a pair of threes along the way.
Kendell Schmitz and Grace Fruzen also drained a couple of long balls and ended with 16 points apiece while six other players added to the score sheet.
In both of their games so far this season, the Lincoln Girls have outscored their opponents 171 to 60 and sit at 2-0.
They will take the weekend off before returning to action next Tuesday at Notre Dame.

The Sheboygan Lutheran girls are on the road to take on New Berlin West ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
