The City of Manitowoc is asking for the public to voice their opinion on a proposed road reconstruction project.
A public involvement meeting regarding the South 30th Street reconstruction between Dewey and Viebahn Streets has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 12th at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall.
That stretch of roadway runs beside Robinson Metal, and Alliance Laundry, which are located on the old Manitowoc Company campus.
Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel tells Seehafer News that a short presentation of the proposed reconstruction will be provided by representatives of the consulting firm of Ayres with informal discussions to follow.
The project is tentatively planned for the summer of 2026 and would include the complete reconstruction of the roadway.
