
The Two Rivers girls basketball team fell 97-33 to Sevastopol in their season opener.
The Raiders could only muster 9 points in the first half while allowing the Pioneers to net 39.
Two Rivers’ offense improved in the second half, netting 24 points, but Sevastopol went off for 58 points in the final frame.
The Raiders start the season at 0-1 as they get ready to travel to Cedar Grove-Belgium on Friday.
Meanwhile, Chilton took care of Reedsville in front of a home crowd, 73-59.
The Tigers’ offense was consistent all game, netting 39 points in the first half and 34 in the second while holding the Panthers to 27 in the first stanza.
Reedsville kept pace after the break, scoring 32 points. Chilton improves to 2-0 as they prepare to host Valders next Tuesday.
Reedsville is still searching for their first win in two tries, but they have over a week to regroup as they will be at Random Lake on December 1st.
