A cautionary tale unfolded in Washburn County as 36-year-old Anthony Koprowski was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) in the jail parking lot.
Koprowski had driven to the county jail to bail out a friend who had been arrested for drunk driving earlier that night.
The State Patrol took Koprowski into custody after jail staff observed signs of intoxication.
A six-year-old child was also present in the vehicle.
Koprowski was detained, and the child was handed over to a sober family member.
