A Manitowoc man is facing drug charges after being involved in a fight at a local bar.
Numerous officers were dispatched to Train Wreck Bar, located at 835 South 15th Street just before 1:00 a.m. Saturday (November 18th) on a report of a physical altercation.
The bartender told the officers that she came out of the kitchen to see a man hitting another man over the head with a beer bottle.
The man who was hit told officers that he was minding his own business at the pool table when four individuals, two men and two women instigated the fight.
It was quickly learned that he was actually on probation, and when he was told he was being detained on a probation hold, officers reported the 52-year-old man became agitated and uncooperative.
He resisted as officers attempted to place him in handcuffs, but they eventually got them on.
The man reportedly called the officers names, including a “punk” and a “fat *expletive* white boy.”
A search of the man found a baggie of what was later determined to be cocaine in a private area.
As of the time of the arrest, the only charge filed was for Felony Possession of Cocaine.
